So here's what's going on in northern Mn....the ASY male is still here, about 10 days now...I was gone all morning yesterday so don't know if there was any action. But around 2 30 in the afternoon the ASY male showed up again with the SY female..in and out of different entrances of the T 14's...she was really checking the entrances out..was here for a half hour or so...Around 5 30 she's back with the ASY male..They were really house checking and up high feeding..They were both here at dusk, but i don't know if they stayed overnight...Just around 5 this morning i went out to start the dawnsong and the ASY male was already out flying..no sign of the female ..So we'll see what today brings.. Suppose to have rain and thunderstorms this afternoon and tomorrow...My area is just one county south of the Canadian border.. My record keeping shows that the first 2 weeks in June i see most martins. So I do have hope that the female continues to show interest and settles in... Again any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated....Dave

Martin Colony History: Started trying to attract purple martins in 2012! It's finally happened in 2017! 5 years!!! ASY male and SY female came May 1st, fledged 5 babies!

Good luck Dave, that's a great feeling! :)
