I have 14 martins as of dark this afternoon. I have more ASY males than females. This season is the most martins I have seen in many years. I have 12 gourds up and 2 mini castles on a single pole. I have had a total of 1 martin land on my houses and everything else since January has been on or in the gourds. I am worried about a Super Gourd I have up with the crescent entrance I have had a lot of martins look inside but have yet to SEE one enter. They have ne problems with the Conley entrance or round holes. I checked to make sure it was the right height and the porch is straight, I guess only time will tell. Good luck with every ones martins.

Martin Colony History: 2016 - built a birdschoice 12 and mounted it June 16/ 2016 ....Hopeful.

Sounds encouraging there Cajun. I have not seen a one over here in Lower Al. I may just have too many trees. I may have to get permission to set up near the school ball field.
