Living in Michigan the PM's have move on, so my question is do I take the house down or leave it up for the winter and put it back out in April?

Thank you.

We had a great year at home and at the Satilite Site.. Yes I so take them down, clean and put in storage for the winter.. Good luck in 2024..

How do you clean out the houses? Do you use a damp rag or use bleach?

I just use the water house set on jet spray. I remove all nest material by hand, then I put small pieces of wood about 6 inches long to prop the doors open.. then jet spray the compartments to clean out stuck on poop etc..

I always take my houses (t 14's) and gourds down. If you have the place to store them they will just last longer not being exposed to the elements the next 6 months or so. On my T 14's I use nest trays so I just pull them out, dump the nest material out and put them back in. The gourds I will just quickly spray out with a hose.
