I th...

The female flew up and started feeding high above the housing while the male investigated the housing, once he was satisfied he joined the female. T...

Building My Site in Central Fl. (Before and after pictures)
2010 MARTIN COLONY On February 11 when 3 ASY males showed up at my site I thought they were just passing thru. I was glad to see them, but being that this was not an established site I posted to the forum that they were on their way north. From that day on there was always one male and sometime 3 th...

Scott, when I saw the bird had her wing caught, I got her wing free and got her out as soon as I could. I didn't even think there might be a second problem, lesson learned ! I looked at both the TVG and the THG, I see what you are talking about. There is a gap on mine that looks to be about 1/16 of ...

Round Holes
Scott, I have round holes on all gourds. I hope yesterday will turn out to be a one time issue, rather than a on-going problem with the TVR gourd. I will keep a close check on the TVR holes, to see if this is repeated. I am going to call Andrew Troyer tomorrow to let him know about the TVR hole wing...

Hey Mitch,We have had the same BB couple for I know the last three years. I guess they are just use to us being around as I have never been dive bombed. I think they just get to the point that they trust you for looking out for them. These birds are such a pleasure to have around .We enjoy having th...
