I have been feeding mealworms for years now thanks to my Blue Birds. The parents will crush the worms in there beaks before taking them to the young.

Thats what it is , the weather. When you have a mild winter there is no need for the birds to come down from up north or for the ones that are around to come to the feeders so much.

I trained my when they had young to feed. It works a lot better and faster when theres mouths to feed.
